Bộ phim kết thúc dự án Bộ tứ siêu đẳng do vấp phải kết quả nghèo nàn. Bộ tứ siêu đẳng cũng là vai diễn anh hùng Marvel đầu tiên của Chris Evans, diễn viên sau đó "lên đời" qua vai diễn Captain America.
