Bộ phim The Gendarme and the Extra-Terrestrials (Cảnh Sát Và Người Ngoài Hành Tinh) bắt đầu khi cảnh sát trưởng Cruchot (do Louis de Funès thủ vai) và các đồng nghiệp của mình tại đồn cảnh sát Saint-Tropez phát hiện ra sự xuất hiện của người ngoài hành tinh.
